art classes & half day workshops

Thank you once again for such an enjoyable and profitable block of classes. I am fired up with enthusiasm! it was so beneficial to me in every way. Jennie

I was always being asked if I taught, but I spent years avoiding it, believing that I wouldn’t be any good. I was persuaded to run my first watercolour workshop to accompany the ‘Daphne’s Glove’ exhibition in Ledbury in 2015. Despite my huge levels of nervousness and trepidation about this first, spoon painting, teaching experience, it was great success! The workshop booked up, everyone had a lovely time, produced wonderful paintings and ate a lot of cake, and then I had to put on another one to keep up with demand!

My workshops and classes have been steadily  growing in popularity over the last three years.

I like to offer the experience of a creative treat day, just  bring yourself, and all materials are provided, including cake!  There will be instruction sheets to keep and the workshop will include time for framing your finished painting. You’ll take home your picture, ready to hang on the wall or give as a special present and, hopefully, the confidence and inspiration to continue to enjoy painting and drawing.

I run blocks of six weeks of ‘Pencils and Paint’ Art Classes, at a local venue www.milking parlour crafts. A chance to explore drawing and painting in different mediums in a friendly group environment.

I also run occasional half day workshops at other venues, Artspace Cinderford. www.artspacecinderford.org
